Especially at the beginning, a good date can make or break a relationship. A dull hangout that doesn’t stir your emotions or leaves you yawning can do damage even when you might otherwise really have connected. A crowded, noisy or distracting date like the movies or the ballet, where you don’t get much chance to talk, can seriously limit your ability to engage with your romantic interest.
