Dating While Travelling

Meeting people in a new city can make a trip. A few things make it safer.

Say you are travelling in your profile — the dates and the city are enough. Keep your hotel and exact plans for people you know well.
Check the local laws before you go, including how the country treats relationships and sexual orientation. What is legal at home may not be legal there.
Meet in public — cafés, restaurants, museums — wherever you are.
Arrange your own transport there and back.
Tell someone — a travel companion or a friend at home — where you are going and who you are meeting.
Be clear about how long you are staying and what you are looking for. It saves everyone disappointment.
